Pumps in CraftDreadfully

Pump much?

With the removal of BuildCraft in 2.7 update of dreadfullyLite CraftDreadfully, some of you may wonder “Oh great now how am I going to Quarry and/or Pump liquids!?” Well, worry not. There is still many more ways to do that even without BuildCraft. (for reasons why i removed said mod, please refer over to my changelog here on the site, or on technic.)

Let’s start with the ‘cheapest’ pump and my most favorite!

Mekanisim:

Simple enough. Power the pump with some RF (or whatever energy you so choose.) You may also directly drop in Energy Tablets or even Energy Cubes into the pump directly to keep it charged! Then use some Mechanical Pipes, or even Fluid-ducts, whatever you prefer to transfer liquids! Add tank and watch it go! The Image shows a pretty clear job of TE’s basic tank hooked up with Mechanical Pipes and naturally the Pump from Mekanisim. All working together very nicely.

Alright let’s go again and show off something new and a bit more involved.

Engineers Toolbox:

This one is a bit more expensive, and a bit more involved. Then again Engineers Toolbox is pretty much “build-it-yourself” themed. Anyways I don’t think I’ll explain this one here in this post. I plan to show off (spotlight) this mod itself in future posts. Image pretty much shows what it’s doing anyways. Powered using Stirling Generator from EnderIO and carried energy by E. Toolbox’s Flux Cables.

Last but not least, a friendly, expensive, and familiar pump.

Extra Utilities:

Here we are. One of the most commonly used pumps to ‘replace’ Buildcraft when BC’s pumps are banned or just not available for use. Powered by a Magmatic Dynamo filled with Blazing Pyrotheum, and energy carried as well as piped and even stored all by Thermal Expansion. The pump itself is the Ender-pump from Extra Utilities.

See pumping liquids is still possible and I only listed 3!
